Star anise gently opens this fragrance making way for the velvet sensuality of Moroccan rose, which dominates the fragrance. The gentle rose is darkened and forever changed with the mysterious depth of oak moss and a subtle note of soft black leather.
Material Lust, in collaboration with Libertine Fragrance, has created an original room scent to coincide with the first room installation at the ANNEX. With each installation one will remember the look, the sound, and the smell.
Designer-turned-perfumer, Josh Smith, created Libertine Fragrance as a leader in the rising tide of indie perfumers bored with current big name perfumeries. In response, he created his own unisex perfume line intent on developing fragrances carefully focused on the ingredients, the process and the art of perfumery.

APOSTATE FILM, 2016
The ANNEX, an experimental, artist-run space that redefines the concept of a Total Work of Art. The ANNEX serves as host to an evolving series of installations that represent fully realized environments, from floor to furniture, scent to soundtrack to film. Located on the Lower East Side, the burgeoning heart of New York’s art world, it’s a space that transcends gallery or showroom. Simultaneously immersive and enigmatic, primitive and progressive, alluring and abstract, it’s a radical venue for outsider art. Thursday, September 29, 2016 Material Lust will be showing their first video installation APOSTATE.
